Emojis in the ESL Classroom This blog post contains some wonderful links to ideas and activities about using Emojis to help English Language Learners communicate feelings and expressions when learning English. Emojis have become universal and are familiar to children all over the world. Almost all young people are native speakers of Emojis, no matter what language their families speak at home. Using this shared knowledge is a fantastic way to start expanding students’ knowledge of language in other areas and support them in sharing thoughts and feelings in writing.
